"Beautifully appointed house.

The house description was accurate. The Entrance to the house 2 is on the upper floor which consists of a very spacious and contemporary open plan Living room and superbly equiped kitchen with every utensil and aid you could possibly need. The stairs lead down to the 3 bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom), which, because of their position in the house, are cool and fresh, providing a comfortable nights' sleep. Each bedroom is simply but tastefully decorated and everything is spotlessly clean including the second bathroom. The location is secluded and peaceful yet close enough to Montredon to pick up the basics.
The Tennis court was in perfect condition and provided a lot of fun and the Pool was large and pristine; very welcome during the hot summer heat of July/August 2013. The Fishing pond also provided some fun fishing for Perch etc.
On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owners and always received excellent local advice and help whenever needed.
This location is well placed for vsiting the UN World Heritage site of Albi, and a number of historic villages such as Lautrec. There is a large and interesting food Market in Realmont, a short car ride away. The Tarn River (about 45 mins by car) offers water based activities in a beautiful valley setting.
We highly recommend Le Cavaille, and would stay again if visiting the area."
"Lovely Holiday, Lovely Location
5 of 5 Stars
This property was exactly as advertised ie peaceful, fitted to a high standard and with superb facilities. In high season the owner or member of their family is on site to help with any issues - when we were there they could not do enough to help.
The lounge was spacious with a good size kitchen area and nice dining table. The bedrooms were a good size for holiday use.
The pool was excellent. Always clean, beautiful water and a lovely size. The tennis court was in excellent condition and the petanque piste was an excellent extra.
Montredon is an idyllic village with a lovely cafe (Cafe du Midi) serving excellent food. There is also a boulangerie, boucheterie, post office, small supermarket and a Tourist Information office. Albi and Castres are both well worth a visit and easy to get to and park.
The Black Mountains are nearby and, if you are a cyclist, look up Pic de Nore - I didn't and am regretting it!
In short, we would have no hesitation in going back to the same place if we go to the same area again."

"Hi Rachel and Nick, This is what we call going on holiday! Everything was superb. The house was excellent ( high standard/ luxuary). We all enjoyed the Large pool / petanque facilities and tennis court. I gave my two daughters the begin lessons tennis. They probably never forget this once in a lifetime Experience."
"Our family took both houses and we had a fantastic time. The location was so pretty and pool and tennis court in perfect locations. We only left twice as it was so relaxing all being together around the pool. All 13 of us were able to eat together outside every night and we had lots of bbq's. Fresh coffee beans and coffee grinder were a nice touch and there was some welcome food and drink when we arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one or both houses. I would definitely go back."
"La Cavaille is a favourite escape. We've stayed in both houses, they're fantastically equipped, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Deeply tranquil, it's the perfect hideaway if you're looking to completely relax and unwind."
The Place To Be!
Yes, this is a secluded place but such a charm, in a super quiet valley (not a single noise of car or else!) Pool and tennis court are great and the cleanliness and refurnished location is awesome. If you look for charm, calm and a great host (as Rachel), this is the perfect place to stay between Castres and Albi. Highly recommended, great experience guaranteed!
